Since joining Conagra Brands in December 2011, Jon has been responsible for design across the enterprise. Recently he developed and implemented the vision for a new Disruptive Innovation capability. It focuses on new product platform development, new brands, and stretching existing brands into new adjacency spaces. Jon has piloted new approaches to innovation, created and developed processes, and is responsible for new talent recruitment. He prioritizes innovations creating growth for the company. The team is responsible for creating the first new brand for the organization since 1985. They have stretched existing brands into new adjacency spaces and created new multi-year platforms. In Jon’s Brand Design role, he has led the creation of new brand building and design techniques for the company. These have been deployed across the organization resulting in transforming brands to business growth with new and existing consumers.
Jon joined Kraft Foods in September 2007 and led their Design and Brand Innovation function. He was responsible for Packaging and Brand Design Strategy, Print Production, and Photography. He focused on driving design leadership throughout the organization. He was focused on the development of Functional Mastery, embedding it in the organization, the ‘look and feel’ of Kraft, and platform projects from upstream to go-to-market.
